We've been asked to put more pictures of the house on here, but the house needs more work before public consumption, so here's a few of one of the barns. We've started to clean it up and build some workbenches in here. It's now awaiting more tools, clamps, etc... We've also got a cheeky truffler visiting in here. We thought it might've been a boar or a fox, but it's turned out to be a cat. Evidence can be seen below.
It took an hour to drive to the spot, then an hour to hike up, then about five minutes to board back down again, including the walk back to pick up my hat. It was all worth it for a day of fresh air and sunshine, and to beat Alex to the first tracks of the year.
Elaine, as you're currently on a flight to Portland, you're unable to see this amazing rainbow outside our kitchen door. It starts and ends right down in the valley. Apologies for the poor Photoshop join, but the rainbow's pretty accurate.
