AT LAST! says Neil

Following some cold weather and a bit of rain, the clouds parted to reveal the first snow of the season. Time to dig out the tennis racket snowshoes and dust off the tweed George Mallory outfits

Sippy Cup

Clearing up before the frost

There has been little more satisfying than digging up taters. These are the late reds, Setanta. We've cleaned up and planted green manure, garlic, and early runner beans for Spring thus far.

The pumpkins have done us proud

They store for around 6 months, so these will keep us going for some time

This hat was knitted by her Great Nanna Nixey. It's gorgeously detailed! And known lovingly as 'The Cauliflower'

Don't let the sweet expression fool you. She'll nibble your fingers if you're not quick enough

Beetroot Terror
We tried Lucius on beetroot last week, which resulted in a tender rash on her face for a few days. We'll have to watch that one. We've been making as much of her food from the jardin/ orchard as possible. So far we've had success with pears, courgette, sweet taters, peas, avocado, yellow beans, carrots, potatoes, apples, rice and millet

Sippy Cup Sweetness
Today was her first foray into the world of sippy cups. She took to it like a duck to water, no turning back now
