My weekly sojourn (work permitting) takes me to Cotes Des Basques, just south of Biarritz
Wallako Surfshop has a nice monopoly in Biarritz of being surfer owned and strictly offering hand shaped boards and independent crafty surf brands. They also hold exhibitions and parties, and are a good deal friendlier than the folks at the bigger stores
My steed for the day was a 9ft Malibu Classic, all the way from Noosa, Australia
