November Ginkgo in Pau

Watermill Ruins

...admiring the streams and such...

...and we happen upon the ruins of an old watermill, sat bang in the middle of our land

Looks well Indiana Jones

Wednesday Morning Rush Hour in Rebenacq

Landy likes the wilderness

We stopped by a lake for a cup o tea and a picnic in the sun with our first visitors: Mel & Phil

Wild ponies (Pottoks) by the lake

10 minutes up the road and we're above the snow line

Landy likes the snow

Sunday 9th Nov- cont...

Beautiful

Fresh tracks, but no lifts for another 3 weeks, so we need to invest in snowshoes to get up there. Skiing & snowshoeing already!

Guest room #1

Starting point

With terrible panelling and ugly light

And here's a new window seat made from wood found in the barn and hinges taken from the original doors. Now awaiting paint and nice things from the antique markets this week.
