The day today

Today we patched up more of Hen Manor, and repaired a wee chicken doorway

Selected seeds for our forthcoming veg patch

And knocked up a bird table and bracket out of scraps

From 'Fowl Den' to 'Hen Manor'

Over the coming days we're going to turn this run down wee barn into a palace for our forthcoming hens

Hardly fox proof at the moment

Or weather proof


Amongst the wreckage were petrol cans, rat poison, fruit boxes, a patterned tie, corn cobs and random bits of rubber, plastic and wood, and some old medicine for good measure

Not to mention the remnants of booze
