Jardin, avec aide

Keith instigates a mass burning of our 'surplus'

It was a lot bigger by the end; we disposed of the old kitchen units, the ceiling paneling and plenty of old wood from the barn

Neil gets to grips with the Billhook, a favorite tool amongst those found in the barn

Mum helped to clear this section of wall, discovering ferns, lilies and roses under a mass of nettles and weeds

La rose

The highlight of the session was finding this grapevine. We set up a rustic support using a junky old mimosa tree which we cleared to make room for it

This'll be bottled at the end of the season

The compost bin was overflowing by the end of the day
